Name: Hiroto Kimura
Age: 30 Years old.
Date of Birth: 8'th October
Birthplace: Saffron City, Kanto Region.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Face Claim: Levi – Shingeki No Kyojin
Appearance: Hiroto has short, straight black hair styled in an undercut and sharp combined with intimidating grey eyes to give an overall hostile look. Unlike what his rather short stature might suggest, his physique is well developed and heavy with muscle from extensive physical training. The slight furrow beneath his eyes are at odds with his otherwise youthful appearance.
One of the most noticeable things about his face is the constant frowning and or lack of any sort of emotional expression besides that. In all honesty that is his poker face. one that he will use when dealing with anyone besides those that stands emotionally closest to him.
As for his clothing he keeps it as expressionless as possible when it comes to his work. Often he will wear colors of black and or white in various combinations all depending upon what he is doing. Most often he can be found wearing a lab coat of some sort due to his academic background. However, if not covered by his lab coat then his chosen form is often a more relaxed version of a suit with no tie.
Distinguishing Features: His everlasting frown seems to be the most and only distinguishing feature.
Personality: Hiroto is a very kind guy. He will always be there to offer his help even if at times he might not show that side of himself. He is the kind of guy that you can tell your secrets to and nobody would ever get to know them, he believes in professionalism above all else and for all that he holds dear, tries to keep up that professional façade. However, deep down he is a very emotional person. He holds his friendships as one of the most important things in his life.
Due to his friendly personality and the fact that friendships are something very important to him, he will be very grudging should someone abuse this friendship for their own personal gain. However, that is not to say he would antagonize them as there might be times were he can understand their decision making, it is just that the emotional side of him does not take abuse kindly even at the times were his rational side might know that it would be hypocritical to dislike their decision.
Rationality is another side of him that runs very deep. The foundation of who he is has been built from his rational side. Logical thinking, rational and apathy based work-behavior from those things he keeps up his professional façade. At times he might find himself at odds with this side of his mind, and honestly at times he hate himself because of it, but since it this side of him that makes him so good at what he does, he have learned to deal with it. Unfortunately as a side effect of this side, he often feel like he indirectly hurts his friends in some way or other causing him to over compensate when he finally gets his “friendliness” on.
The rational side and the emotional side of him, he would not define them as two sides, rather like a cup filled with salt water and fresh water. He would not know where one began and the other ended. For that reason, he often finds it hard to switch between “work-mode” and “off-duty” which more often than not courses him to appear stoic towards those he meets. This can often cause him to seem unfriendly even towards his friends. This problem with turning work-time on and off origins in the fact that he is not an only child. He is the youngest of a group of seven children with a few of them being adopted. So the competition for the attention of their parents were harsh and honestly his siblings are very well trained competitors in that field.
One thing that he loves is his work that is why he chose what he did. He enjoys learning new things and passing that information on to the younger generation. However, his love for research might be bigger than the love for passing it on, he will perform both tasks with out-most efficiency and enjoyment. When he works, and the work isn’t being done out in the field, he will almost always keep it organized in some way. Often the more disorganized the work area is the more stressed he will be which can be used as a good indication of whether to disturb him or not.
- Pop Music.
- People who believe themselves smarter than they are.
- People who dare question his work ethics.
- People who abuse their Pokémon.
History: The story of Hiroto began not with him, but with the creation of two human beings. One being his mother a woman known by the name of Kaede Honoka and his father a man by the name of Kazuki Kimura. Both were unknown as children, they both came from similar backgrounds of farmer families but in two different regions. His mother were from Kanto and his father Johto. They both took an education in Pokémon Biology and medicine. His father ended up becoming a very renowned Pokémon researcher and the lead researcher on the team that developed the cure and vaccine for the Taurus flu, a disease epidemic that cost the life of many Taurus in the Kanto Region. His mother became an influential military researcher with specialty in development of weaponry Pokémon use.
Nobody would ever have thought that they would even meet each other, but on a science conference they both met each other and they got along pretty well. In fact so well that they became friends, and that friendship blossomed and became love. Their love resulted in a marriage and a year after the marriage their first child was born, a little girl. All was well and good and another prodigy had been born. Less than three years later another pregnancy was upon the little family, this time it was twins. The children born of that were both of the male gender. Much happiness were had in fact so much that they decided to have two more after four years. However, this time they chose to adopt. One might think they were creating a small army here but in fact they were simply filled with love and adoration for the creation of children and the care taking of them.
Hiroto’s parents had planned not to have any more after that. However, his mother’s biological clock had not quite taken its last turn and at last Hiroto had been created. Hiroto were the last of a long line of children. All of their spawn seemed smart, even the adopted ones. And then there was Hiroto, honestly he was the slow one of the bunch. The competition were strong and he was fighting an uphill struggle. His parents oft did not seem to give him enough attention, they provided the essential but their aging body took much of their energy. Luckily they had Pokémon and they could help them taking care of him.
His childhood were an uphill struggle to gain the attention and approval of his parents when compared to his siblings. Due to this uphill struggle his life was filled with a big lack of self-confidence. But in school nothing seemed wrong, he kept on the façade. He did his best yet it never felt like enough for him. He was brilliant when it came to learning the things, however, he was socially lacking. Pokémon battling was trending at the time and he had no Pokémon of his own the ones he carried had been lend to him in case he needed the protection. One of his siblings pitied him and gave him a Bulbasaur and suddenly he could join in on all the fun. He wasn’t particularly good at battling at first, but he grew into it as he grew older and gained more self-confidence with it.
Hiroto grew to be a man of his work and the friends he found through it. As a teenager and later an adult he chose to pursue a future within the field of Pokémon Biology with specialization on Pokémon genetics as well as Behavior. These were subjects were complex and required a brilliant mind, wish and resources to do well. Nobody was surprised when he did well, his siblings had already made a name for themselves so he was the last one, it was more expected of him than it probably were of anyone else.
After he had finished his studies he chose to travel the world researching a variety of things, one of them being the health risks and benefits on Pokémon doing Pokémon battles. He fought a bit and became relatively skillful at it, for anyone who might have watched his career they would probably define him as an Ice and Water type specialist. During the years of traveling he took part in a variety of unofficial competitive tournaments. During one of these he meet and somehow befriended a woman named Valerie Saren, their battle were an evident loss for him but it would have an impact on his future, little did he know that he had just gotten his ass-whopped by his future employer.
Time went on after his defeat. He returned to his research and published a fair amount of scientific articles, some which gained some renown. One day something well truly amazing happened. He was called by someone whose name he could faintly remember, she offered him a job as Assistant Headmaster. He accepted and that is how he ended at the Falling Star Academy.

RP Sample: Snow was gently falling down outside, winter had reached the school, or someone was performing an unauthorized weather attack. The later was more probably because of the mixed climate of the Island biomes. Hiroto sighed and placed the paperwork he had been doing upon his desk and pushed himself away from said desk, he would have to go check it out. It wasn’t a rule breaker, using weather attacks without authorization. At least not as far as he knew, and he ought to know all the rules. However, it could be an inconvenience to students not involved in the match and as such if the match lasted too long he would have to negate the effect of the weather altering move.
As he got out of the building he noticed that the snowing had increased. From the pattern of the snow, the way it fell and other such variables he attempted to deduce the specie. The snow felt natural as if whatever created it were intimately knowledgeable about snow. This information told him that the Pokémon were of the ice type, which he admitted were one of his favorite types.
The sound of two Pokémon clashing against each other alerted him to the whereabouts of the battle and as he reached it he saw a very well developed Snorunt fighting against a Joltik. None of the Pokémon seemed tired and from what he could deduce from how long the snow had already been falling he would have to stop this battle as it would be a long one.
He looked at both trainers, neither had noticed him nor did he believe they would if he spoke to them. They were both evidently way too focused on the battle. It was no surprise to him that they both were of the male gender.
“Boys I am afraid you must end the match here and move to the appropriate area for battling.” Hiroto said.
He was surprised when they both actually reacted to him. The battle ended almost immediately both boys recalled their Pokemon and apologized by stating they had become too indulged in the battle before moving on. Since no harm had happened he allowed them to be on their merry way.
